Coffee brewed pour over style is the oldest known method of coffee preparation. It is still the preferred way to brew coffee in many countries due to the amount of control you have over the strength and flavor, dependent on the timing of your pour, temperature of water, and aeration.

Pour over kits originated in Japan in the 1990s as a way to quickly enjoy fresh ground coffee with no brewing equipment. They then started to appear in the UK market in the 2010s. Each filter contains freshly ground coffee that is nitrogen sealed for lasting freshness.

Coffee grounds and coffee bags can be disposed in your home compost bin, or mixed in with planting soil. Remove the tin tie from the bag before composting. Packaging boxes are recyclable. Used filter kits and foil wrappers should be disposed of in your regular waste bin.

Our specialty grade coffee is sourced above standard fair-trade rates directly from farmers. It is then roasted with a Loring S15 which produces minimal combustion and uses a fraction of the gas typically used by other comparable roasters.

We recommend storing your coffee at room temperature in a dry space.

Pour over kits have their Best Buy Date stamped on the back of the wrapper. Once regular coffee bags are opened, we recommend enjoying your coffee within a week.
